Thank you for listening to and contemplating my poem, it means a lot to me. It is really hard to see your colleagues lose their jobs. I have also seen that over my years in the field.

       I have been a Computer Systems Analyst for 30 years watching my colleagues be cut one after the other for most of that time.  I heard your interview on NPR and your poem Austerity on December 4th.  The poem really captures a huge depth of feeling in a short number of words.  Thank you for your writing.
